The FATEH class is an Iranian-developed "semi-heavy" submarine design. The boats are significantly larger than previous models produced by Iran, such as the GHADIR-class midget submarines. HULL: The FATEH class displaces 600 metric tons and measures 157 ft 6 in (48 m) long. Its hull is 14 ft 5 in (4.4 m) in diameter.
