Swedish SAM-II class

This was originally a cooperative U.S.-Swedish program to develop an air-cushion vehicle radio-controlled mine countermeasures drone (MSD) called SAM-II. It was established in 1992, but the U.S. dropped out in 1996. Sweden continued development, but the program was ultimately cancelled. Costs would have been split equally. CelsiusTech was the prime U.S. contractor, with Textron sub-contracted to build a prototype in 1997.
