description
These coastal minesweepers were built with U.S. Military Aid Program (MAP) funds and transferred to Belgium upon completion. Upon return to the United States from the Belgian navy, they were transferred to Turkey on March 24, 1970 (except SEYMAN, which was transferred on Nov. 19, 1970).
status
DISPOSALS:SEYMAN (M-507) was stricken in 1995 for disposal; the
remaining two survivors were stricken in 1998.
