The Hungarian army's maritime force, dissolved on June 30, 2001, operated a class of small, aluminum-hull craft that are capable of minelaying, minesweeping and patrol. They were deployed on the Danube River. Published dimensions showed them to be approximately one-half the size of the ships of the ex-Yugoslavian NESTIN class , which were also in Hungarian service (see separate database entry).
