This ship replaced the former SHOYO (HL -01). Principal mapping sonar is the U.S.-made Sea Beam 2112, 12 kHz system. She carries two 6-ton, 32 ft 8 in (10.0 m) MANBO-II class inshore surveying launches that have a maximum speed of 10 knots. The launch is equipped with a Reson Seabat 9001S mapping so nar.
