The AIN ZAGHOUN is a former Italian water tanker in service with the Tunisian navy. In Italian service, the SIMETO replaced the cancelled TEVERE (A-5355). The SIMETO was stricken from the Italian navy list in 2002, and transferred to Tunisia on June 30, 2003. HULL:The design is based on the Italian BASENTO class.
