description

The Bulgarian navy received 10 former Soviet utility landing ships in 1970 (having been completed during 1966-1970). Another 14 were built under license in Bulgaria between 1974 and 1978.

The cargo capacity is 260 tons maximum, or three main battle tanks (MBT) or four PT-76 light tanks or five BTR-152s or 10 GAZ-66 trucks or 176 troops.
