Designed by ABS Hovercraft, which also provided the machinery and the skirts. The prototype was commissioned on June 26, 1998. When the government attempted to order three more in November 2001, corporate successor Kockums refused the business. Construction for six additional units was dropped.

Capable of carrying one tracked vehicle, 50 seated troops or 10 tons cargo.
