description

These are U.S.-built combat swimmer support craft. Ten units of this class were originally ordered in 1982 and delivered in 1982/1983.

These small, high-speed craft are intended to support operations of the Egyptian navy's underwater team (similar to U.S. Navy SEALs). These craft can carry 12 swimmers as well as a rubber landing craft, the latter atop the deckhouse.
