These landing craft were built in Great Britain specifically for sale to Ecuador. They had a glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) hull and a bow door/ramp. The craft had a shallow draft for beaching. They could carry 4 tons of cargo.

These craft were purchased in 1979. All were stricken in the late 1990s.
