description

These are former U.S. LCVP vessels. Ten were transferred to Greece in November of 1956, four in July 1958, 10 in January of 1962, four in June 1964, three in October of 1969 and others in March 1971. Two were returned to the U.S. in 2000 (see below).

The craft have a bow ramp and are not normally armed. They are expected to be replaced by new construction units.
