The Cat House radar is an anti-ballistic missile (ABM ) target-tracking radar located at Chekhov, approximately 35 nm (40 mi; 65 km) southwest of Moscow. This radar has been part of the A-35 anti-ballistic missile system operated in conjunction with the Dog House ** radar (see separate record).
The A-35 includes the Dunai-3M and the improved Dunai-3U sector radars, known in the West as the Dog House and Cat House radars, respectively.
