SSQ-801 Barra

The SSQ-801 is a standard A-size passive sonobuoy dropped as part of the Barra anti-submarine warfare (ASW) system. It can be air-dropped from a variety of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Barras in British service are designated SSQ-981.
