Type 2150

description

The Type 2150, also known as the S2150, is a hull-mounted, medium-frequency sonar developed by Ultra Electronics as a replacement for the Type 2050 fitted to the British Royal Navy's NORFOLK class frigates. The system, part of Ultra's Sea Searcher family of hull-mounted sonars, features active and extended wideband passive performance. 

The sonar is intended to be retrofitted onto the NORFOLK-class ships and installed on the new GLASGOW-class frigates.
