Type 2050

Type 2050 is a medium-range hull-mounted active surveillance and attack sonar designed as an upgrade of the Type 2016 sonar on British anti-submarine surface ships. The system uses 64 signal beams of 5.5 degrees for improved performance over continental shelves and bottom echo rejection.
