description
The SQ3D is a medium-range "searchlight" surveillance sonar fitted to mine warfare ships and small combatants.
The transducer is housed in a glass-reinforced, streamlined plastic hull dome, which can withstand ship speeds of 40 knots. It can search automatically and the array can be trained through 360 degrees in bearing and 90 degrees in elevation.
