Sirius

Sirius is a bi-spectral (3-5 and 8-10 micron) long-range infrared search and track system. The primary function of the radar is to contribute to local area defense as well as to the ship's own defense.

Sirius is useful against supersonic and subsonic sea-skimming missile threats. It can perform and assist with a range of missions: multi-spectral observation of coastal areas, theater ballistic missile defense, floating mine detection and search-and-rescue.
