The Scanter family of naval radars is designed for surveillance and tracking tasks.
Scanter radars provide detection of very small targets, even under extreme conditions. Scanters can serve as the primary radar on vessels carrying surveillance duties, including search-and-rescue and asymmetric warfare missions.
The Scanter 2001 is designed more for short- and medium-range surveillance, while the 4000/4100 is geared for long-range operations. Other variants are also listed below.
