The Podberezovik (Flat Screen**) series radars are large, square long-range air surveillance radars originally tested on the KARA-class cruiser KERCH. Its planar-array antenna resembles the U.S. AN/SPS-48 .
Designed as the latest air-surveillance radar, Flat Screen** has not been widely deployed because of financial constraints. The only exported system is installed on the Indian aircraft carrier VIKRAMADITYA , which was commissioned in November 2013.
