Big Net**

Big Net** is a naval long-range, two-dimensional (2-D) air surveillance radar. First seen at sea in the missile range ship SIBIR** in the early 1960s, Big Net is generally associated with the SA-N-1 Goa ** naval surface-to-air (SAM) system. About a decade after its introduction, it was effectively succeeded by Top Sail**.
