The Slot Rest is an early warning and target acquisition radar that was developed by the Chinese military. It is similar to the Russian Spoon Rest ** radar.
The truck-mounted system uses a horizontal Yagi multiple-dipoles antenna array. The array is mounted on the roof of the truck, which also houses the operations control cabin.
Information regarding the current production and operational status of this system is not available. Last reported in use in the early 1990s.
