PS-91 Helicopter and Aircraft Radar Detection (HARD)

The PS-91 Helicopter and Aircraft Radar Detection (HARD) system is a three-dimensional, short-range, pulse-Doppler radar that has many characteristics similar to the Giraffe (PS-70/R) family of Swedish radars. It is mounted on the Bv 208 tracked articulated vehicle as part of the RBS 90 SAM system. HARD can be integrated with ground-based or naval air defense systems, and is designed to detect helicopters or fixed-wing aircraft. Up to eight targets can be tracked simultaneously.
