The IRS-20MP is a monopulse secondary surveillance radar (SSR) used for both air defense and air traffic control. It can be used as a standalone system or in association with a primary search surveillance radar.

The system includes improved accuracy, high efficiency with a large vertical aperture antenna, protection against reflections, a solid-state modular interrogator, high-speed databus and multiple microprocessors.
