The IRS-10 is a pedestal-mounted ground-based secondary surveillance radar used in both civil and military applications. The system is automated and can be remotely operated. The system includes two receiver/transmitters, two coder-extractors, a digital switching unit and a single antenna with cont rol unit. The system has a vertical polarization.
