The Cheetah is a mobile battlefield surveillance radar used by artillery units for target acquisition and fire correction. The system is probably a Chinese derivative of the Soviet SNAR-2 (Pork Trough**) radar that is mounted on a tracked vehicle.

The Cheetah consists of a power generator and an operations cabin, which is mounted on a three-axle flatbed truck. The small power generator is located approximately 3-4 ft (0.9-1.2 m) from the truck during operation.
