The 64N6 (NATO designation Big Bird**) is the surveillance and target acquisition radar for the S-300PMU1 (SA-10c Grumble **) and S-300PMU2 Favorit (SA-10d Grumble **) surface-to-air missile systems. Some sources call the radar the "Tombstone."

The baseline system appears to be divided into two sheltered elements, designated F6 and F8. The F6 element houses the phased-array antenna, transmitter and receiver, while the F8 section contains its noise protection, data processing...
