The Fix-24 is a ground-based high-frequency (HF) direction-finding (DF) system that determines the direction of hostile radar or communications signals. The system consists of a circular array of 24 vertical monopoles placed at 15-degree intervals in a ring about 492 ft. (150 m) in diameter. This s ystem does not use a reflecting screen.
