description
Barricade is an anti-missile decoy system designed to protect smaller surface ships against anti-ship missiles. The lightweight, low-cost launcher deploys chaff and infrared decoys to provide a layered defense against radar and infrared homing missiles in various phases of attack.
The system consists of two launchers, located port and starboard. Each launcher has six sets of triple tubes that fire that fire spin-stabilized, two 24-in (57-mm) rockets.
