description

The AQ-800 is a jamming pod used for radar training and evaluation. It is pylon-mounted on a variety of aircraft, and can operate in one of four preset bands. The pod has ram-air cooling.

Modulation types available are AM-noise, FM-noise and FM-sawtooth plus noise. Receiver and transmitter each have two antennas, one forward and one aft.

No longer in production. Current service status not reported. CelsiusTech was last reported to support the system (1997).
