Tactical Information and Command System (TACTICOS)

TACTICOS was originally a combination of the TAVITAC naval command system and Signaal's (later Thales Nederland) Mod 4 STACOS enhancement combat management system for surface vessels. It allows for automated threat evaluation using active and passive sensor data. In combination with information stored in the rational database, TACTICOS provides information on identification of platform types and capabilities.
