Puff Ball** was an aircraft bombing and navigation radar used in Badger ** bombers for targeting AS-2 Kipper, AS-5 Kelt and the AS-6 Kingfish ** air-to-surface missiles (although some aircraft carrying the AS-5 may have had the Short Horn** radar).

The radar was also fitted in Badger and Bison ** reconnaissance/EW aircraft (no longer in service) and was employed as surface-search radar for the Hormone-A** ASW helicopter (no longer in service).
