The PS-05/A is the multi-mode pulse-Doppler radar used in the Gripen fighter. It has been developed by Ericsson Radar Systems AB with Ferranti Defense Systems Ltd. (now GEC-Marconi) in a cooperative venture that resulted in the PS-05A and the Sea Harrier 's Blue Vixen radar. For the PS-05A, Ferranti has developed the high-speed section of the signal processor and the antenna pedestal.
