The SUW-N-1 was an ASW missile system found on two classes of Russian aircraft carriers, apparently provided in place of the SS-N-14** found in other modern Russian warships. It was an adaptation of the FROG-7** unguided artillery rocket. (FROG = free rocket over ground.)
The SUW-N-1 used a twin-rail launcher similar to that used by the SA-N-13**. The rocket is designated the FRAS-1** (free rocket anti-submarine).
