UGST heavyweight torpedo

The UGST, also known as the Fizik-1, is a Russian thermal torpedo propelled by a pumpjet propulsor. It has twin tail fins that deploy when the weapon leaves the torpedo tube. It has a modular design, probably using an internal bus that allows different warhead, propulsion and electronic systems to be fitted. The torpedo and warhead are delivered separately in gas-filled containers. It can be fired from both submarines and surface vessels.
