The Tiger Shark heavyweight wire-guided torpedo has been developed by LIG Nex1 for the South Korean navy. The weapon is intended to replace the aging White Shark torpedo.

The torpedo is powered by a lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery similar that on the Blue Shark lightweight torpedo. The battery powers a brushless direct current electric motor built to minimize acoustic signature. The propellers are arranged in a counter-rotary fashion.
