The K-4 is a submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) being developed for India's ARIHANT-class nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines. The ARIHANT features a missile launch complex capable of accommodating 12 K-15 or four K-4 missiles. The second sub in the class, the ARIGHAT, is configured to carry 24 K-15 or eight K-4 missiles.
