The Ray-Ting (Thunder) 2000 is Taiwan's indigenously developed multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). It is designed to be used against amphibious landings. The weapon is based on Lockheed Martin's M270 MLRS . The RT-2000 is expected to replace the Kung Feng IV and VI systems for coastal defense.
