The Chinese A-100 is a 300-mm multiple rocket launch system (MRLS) that is very similar to the Russian Smerch system in rocket diameter, range, rate of fire and appearance.

The A-100 is mounted on a Chinese cross-country 8 x 8 WS 2400 chassis, with a fully enclosed forward cab. The system itself fires unguided 300-mm rockets armed with a 440-lb (200-kg) warhead carrying 500 anti-armor/anti-personnel submunitions.
