The Type 30 was an unguided surface-to-surface artillery rocket fired from a two-rail launching system carried on a Hino 6 x 6 truck. Stabilizers were lowered to the rear of the vehicle and on either side before the rockets were fired. It carried a high-explosive fragmentation warhead.

As of this update, the Type 30 is no longer reported in Japanese service.
