Little open-source is known of the 333-mm Shahin 2 (Hawk 2) bombardment rocket beyond some limited data and a single round displayed at several 1989 armaments exhibitions.
The rocket is larger than the better known Iranian Oghab (Eagle ) and smaller than Iran's Nazeat. The Shahin 2 has the most powerful motor of the three as well as the largest warhead and the shortest range.
The missile is a stubby cylinder with a long nose and cruciform, "cropped delta" stabilizers at the tail....
