HGK precision-guided bomb kit

The Turkish-developed HGK (Hassas Gudum Kiti), or precision guidance kit) is a precision-guidance kit for standard general-purpose bombs. The baseline HGK-1 system is designed for 2,000-lb Mk 84 bombs. It is similar to the U.S. Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM). The reluctance of the U.S. government to provide JDAM systems contributed to Turkey's efforts to develop its own system.
