The Dhanush (Bow in Sanskrit, as in an archer's bow) is a short-range sea-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) designed for use aboard the ships of the Indian navy. The Dhanush is either a derivative of the Prithvi short-range ballistic missile or was developed concurrently, sharing several design features.
