The CB-770 cluster bomb was an area-denial weapon designed to scatter the PM-3 fragmentation bomblet over a wide area. It is no longer in service.

The CB-770 was similar to the CB-500-K-2. The dispenser was canister-shaped with a tapered nose and four fins that flipped out to deploy after launch. It was constructed from high-resistance glass fiber material. The nose cone contained an electronic variable-setting fuze. The main compartment carr ied 121 PM-3 anti-personnel incendiary...
