The CB-770 cluster bomb was an area-denial weapon designed to scatter the PM-3 fragmentation bomblet over a wide area. It is no longer in service.
The CB-770 was similar to the CB-500-K-2. The dispenser was canister-shaped with a tapered nose and four fins that flipped out to deploy after launch.
