The last in a series of Soviet-era unguided, nuclear-capable, short-range artillery rockets, the FROG-7 is the only one mounted on a wheeled carrier (previous versions had tracked carriers).
The thin, pointed Russian missile is carried on a rail that elevates for firing. Each BAZ-135 missile launch vehicle carries one missile; similar missile-reload vehicles may carry as many as three. The launch vehicle has a large crane along the left hull top for reloading.
