The HJ-12 (Red Arrow 12) is a man-portable anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) developed by the China North Industries Corp. (NORINCO). It was the first such missile to be completely developed domestically in China. The weapon is designed to defeat tanks, bunkers, small boats and helicopters. The HJ-12 may be a development from the ATF-11 ATGM project.
The system consists of a command unit with an electro-optical and imaging infrared targeting sight, battery, tripod and the missile....
