The AT-2 Swatter is a second-generation, anti-tank missile that is deployed on the BRDM-2 armored reconnaissance vehicle as well as on helicopters. It is also known by its Russian designation 9M17 Skorpion.
The missile is cylindrical with a rounded nose, two small foreplanes and rear- mounted cruciform wings with elevons.
The entire missile system is called the 3M11 Flayta, with the name Falanga (Phalanx); this is believed to refer to the ground-launched version of the AT-2.
