The Otvet (Russian: Response) is a Russian anti-submarine missile system used to detect, classify and destroy submarines and uncrewed underwater vehicles (UUVs). The system consists of a two-stage, solid-fuel anti-submarine missile equipped with a 324-mm MPT-1UM torpedo; communications and launch systems; and a vessel-mounted sonar and helicopter dipping sonar.
