The Hongsangeo (Red Shark) is a domestically developed precision-guided light anti-submarine missile system designed for the South Korean navy's CHUNGMUGONG YI SUN SHIN- and SEJONG DAEWANG-class destroyers, It has also been installed on the INCHEON-class Batch II frigates. It has been compared to the U.S. Vertical Launch Antisubmarine (VLA) missile.
