The SS-N-3 Shaddock was a large, air-breathing cruise missile originally developed for the strategic attack role in the SS-N-3C variant. The SS-N-3C was followed by the anti-ship 3A and 3B variants. It was deployed on several Russian submarines and cruisers and also used as a drone target for surface-to-air missile exercises.
