The Haeseong (Sea Star, C-Star) is a long-range cruise missile designed for the South Korean navy's Aegis-equipped destroyers built starting in 2008 as part of the KDX-III program.
The missile has four small fold-out wings around the center and four fold-out tail control surfaces.
The Haeseong is launched using a solid-fueled booster and then powered in flight by an SS-760K turbofan for a top speed of 650 mph (1,040 kph). The missile has a range of up to 90 mi (150 km).
